General Cannabis ($CANA) just announced that its Q3 revenue was $4.1 million, a year-over-year increase of 106%. Compare this with $2.0 million for the third quarter of 2010. Revenues rose to $10.4 million for the nine months ending Sept. 30, 2011, an increase of 87%, from $5.5 million for nine months ended Sept. 30, 2010.

At a time when the feds are cracking down on illegal marijuana dispensaries in California, it's good to know that there is one company out there that is committed to providing accurate information and education, directing medical marijuana patients to legitimate dispensaries and setting the bar for other states that are following in California's pioneering footsteps.

I'm sure that there are a few folks out there who hear about "cannabis testing" and want to volunteer for that study!
